Since 2017, Nicole and Adrian have shared a passion for nature and horticulture. Outside of the garden they enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoors with their two dogs.
Nicole fell in love with horticulture as a child while tending to family gardens and exploring the pineland forests of rural New Jersey. Her focus turned to soil science, plant pathology, and plant nutrition, with a passion for natural habitat restoration. Whether a houseplant or garden patch, Nicole has found that replicating natural habitat and using a holistic approach is the key to caring for your plants.
Adrian graduated from Oberlin College in 2009 with a degree in biology with a focus in horticulture. He is passionate about permaculture and food forestry and spends his free time in his perennial gardens. Adrian is constantly researching and experimenting with growing conditions, creating new garden beds, and is always searching for his next perennial food to grow.
